WAYS TO HELP THE CREDIT UNION
1. Become a member of St Albans District Credit Union and encourage others to join.
2. Consider borrowing from the Credit Union for loans up to £5.000. . Our loans can be competitive with those offered via credit and store cards and by finance companies, including banks and building societies,
3. Become a helper. There are opportunities for members to be actively involved in operating the Credit Union, e.g: as a collection point volunteer at St Albans or Harpenden. Complete the e-form at “Contact Us” and a CU officer will contact you.
4. Save with the Credit Union. It is the members’ savings that primarily provide money for loans.
4. Spread the word among friends and local groups or by distributing leaflets or assisting at local events.
5. Identify the need and suggest the location of collection points.
6. Ask your employer to start a payroll deduction scheme to save with the Credit Union.
